You know what I haven't done in awhile? A Favourite Starbucks Creations post. Here's five, in no particular order. All efforts to sound like a prissy douchebag: completely intentional
1. Iced triple grande sugar-free vanilla latte.
My default drink, before I decided to give up espresso: an iced latte with three shots of espresso, two percent milk and sugar-free vanilla. Just the right balance of coffee and sweet, and a good, quick caffeine boost for that first fifteen minute break. NOT a Skinny Vanilla Latte. Nonfat milk = bleh.
2. Iced grande half-sweet sugar-free vanilla whole milk iced coffee with milk.
My less-espresso'd version of the above drink. Slightly less creamy, although the whole milk partly makes up for it. They changed the name from Iced Coffee Con Leche to Iced Coffee With Milk so people would actually order it. It worked.
3. Iced grande half-sweet, two scoops matcha, green tea apple juice.
Charles' invention: he says it tastes like a green apple bubble tea. I don't think so, but it's good any way. If you don't like the grassy taste of matcha, it's good even without -- but it doesn't get that lovely algae-pool look. Also good with apple juice: iced black tea.
4. Tall toffee nut, soy, no whip strawberries and cream frappuccino blended creme.
A customer ordered this and said "It tastes like strawberry ice cream in a waffle cone." It really does. It's amazing. It's crazy sweet, so I'd only go for a tall. Make sure you ask for soy milk instead of the cream base. Some baristas will tell you it doesn't blend properly that way. They're wrong. WRONG.
5. Grande no dairy, with matcha, with protein, with strawberry sauce orange mango banana blend.
An orange mango banana Vivanno smoothie-thing ("Noooourishing blend") with strawberry sauce instead of milk. This only works now that we have the new strawberry puree that's less outrageously sweet than the old stuff. Again, feel free to leave out the matcha. And even the protein, if dairy or whey is just not your thing. The important parts are the orange mango, the strawberry, and the banana.
